CBI registers six FIRs in Vyapam scam

CBI today registered six FIRs related to alleged irregularities in the conduct of examinations by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board also known as Vyapam.
CBI spokesperson said the first case has been registered against two persons on the allegations of cheating by personation in Constable Recruitment Examination, 2013, while second case is against nine persons on the allegations of cheating by personation in the Examination of 2012.
She said third case is against four accused persons on the allegations of cheating by personation in Forest Guard Recruitment Examination 2013 while fourth case is against 16 accused persons on the allegations of cheating by personation in Pre Medical Test 2009.

The fifth case is against three accused persons on the on the allegations of cheating by personation in Constable Recruitment Examination,2012 and sixth case is on allegations of cheating by personation in Police Constable Recruitment Exam 2013, the spokesperson said.
The case was handed over to CBI by the Supreme Court and the agency has so far registered over 110 FIRs in connection with the alleged irregularities.
