Competition Commission of India (CCI) keeps a tab on unfair business practices across sectors and has clamped down on various anti-competitive ways across sectors.
The watchdog is scouting for advisers in the areas of financial analysis, economics and law besides a director in the field of law.
According to a public announcement, direct recruitment would also be done for joint, deputy and assistant directors as well as office managers in different areas.
Together, there are 30 positions.
Separately, the anti-trust regulator has called for applications to fill up on deputation basis two posts of assistant directors for library services and corporate services.
A significant number of posts are lying vacant at CCI, which has been witnessing an increased number of complaints apart from notices seeking approvals for combinations.
Meanwhile, CCI is trying to hire a larger number of permanent staff members and also make the deputation terms more attractive to attract right talent.
For experts and professionals, the regulator has hiked monthly remuneration by Rs 10,000 at all levels. They are classified into five categories based on their experience.
