CCI has submitted a memorandum to the Governor, who is currently heading the state administration, in which it has highlighted various issues being faced by the people of the region.
"We would like to bring to your notice that chanting and echos of the word 'azadi' that rock our state often needs to be redefined and addressed," Jammu CCI president Rakesh Gupta told reporters.
"People are made to face various hardships to get state subject issued to them when they already have the state subject of their father and grand-father readily available to them then there should be no hassle," Gupta said.
The CCI also urged for conversion of the Super Speciality Hospital in Jammu into a self-reliant institution wherein the patients are charged for the service being provided.
