"The priority of the Chamber would be to uproot and get deported the foreign settlers who are posing a great threat to the security of Jammu," newly elected president of CCIJ Rakesh Gupta told reporters here.
He said, "We will press the government for their deportation and will use force to thrown them out if the government does not take a call on it".
Over 13,700 foreigners, including Tibetans and Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar, are settled in Jammu where the population of foreign nationals has increased by over 6,000 from 2008 to 2016.
Of these 5,743 are Burmese nationals (Rohingyas), 7,690 are Tibetans and 322 are other foreigners, she had said.
Gupta also urged the state government to outsource the Super Speciality Hospital at Maheshpura on the lines of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital in Katra.
He said that the surveys being conducted by the Income Tax department are "neither desired nor tolerable" as the department is "only targeting Jammu city".
