The decision was taken during a meeting held at the Prime Minister's official residence in New Delhi, according to a statement issued by the state government here.
Of the Rs 7,346 crore, Rs 1,885 will be given for Centre-aided schemes, Rs 1200 crore for schemes under National Disaster Relief Fund (NDRF), and Rs 1,100 crore will be given for special plan assistance, the statement said.
Rs 100 crore will be given for the cost of the compensations which are not listed under the guidelines of NDRF but are being borne by the state government, it said.
Also, Rs 5 lakh each has been given to the families of missing or dead persons in Uttarakhand, while Rs 3 lakh has been given to the families of the victims from other states, he said.
