Century Plyboards (India) Ltd on Monday posted a standalone net profit of Rs 19.09 crore in the quarter to December, down 54 per cent over the corresponding period a year ago.
Net revenue from operations for the quarter under review was Rs 595.42 crore, registering a 3-per cent on-year rise, the company said in a statement.
The earnings took a hit, owing to impairment loss on investment in its subsidiary in Laos, amouting to Rs 45.63 crore.
Consolidated profit for the quarter under review slumped to Rs 37 lakh as against Rs 30.13 crore a year ago, it said.
