The company had reported a net loss of Rs 2.53 crore for the corresponding quarter last year, it said in a statement.
CGCL's standalone net sales during the period under review stood at Rs 889.99 crore.
The company was listed in BSE in May this year after being demerged from the parent firm Crompton Greaves.
"Growth this quarter has been good across segments. Our focus categories -- premium fans, agro pumps and LED lighting have all registered significant growth. Latest retail audit data indicates that we are continuing to gain share in ceiling fans and LED lights," its Managing Director Shantanu Khosla said.
