Chainsmokers, Twenty One Pilots rule 2017 iHeartRadio Awards

The Chainsmokers have dominated the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards night, winning four trophies at the ceremony, followed by musical duo Twenty One Pilots, who took home three honours.
The Chainsmokers, consisting of Drew Taggart and Alex Pall, won the best new artist, best pop artist, dance song and dance artist of the year.
While, Twenty One Pilots beat out The Chainsmokers, Coldplay, DNCE and Florida Georgia Line to win the best duo/group of the year. In addition, they took alternative rock song of the year and alternative rock artist of the year trophy.
Pop star Justin Bieber, who was nominated in the six categories at the ceremony, only won male artist of the year, defeating Drake, Luke Bryan, Shawn Mendes and The Weeknd.
Singer Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling" nabbed the song of the year title.
Adele, who won all the major categories at this year's Grammys, became female artist of the year at the iHeartRadio.
Country artist of the year went to Thomas Rhett, while rock artist of the year was won by Disturbed.
Other winners included, Drake, Chance The Rapper and the Weeknd, who took home hip-hop artist of the year, the best new hip-hop artist and R&B artist of the year, respectively.
