He took over the charge from Air Commodore G S P N Chowdary at an impressive Ceremonial Parade at the parade ground comprising all Air Warriors of the Depot.
Prior to his new assignment here, Garg held the post of Command Engineering Officer at Headquarters Central Air Command, Allahabad, an official release said.
Garg had also served at Air Head Quarters and various premier bases of the Indian Air Force and held key portfolios, it said.
