Deputy Commissioner of Customs in Motihari Pawan Kumar said acting on a tip off, a special team constituted under Customs Superintendent Shailendra Kumar raided and searched the truck yesterday near Mohammadpur on NH 28 under Pipra Kothi police station area of the district.
The truck was on its way to Pipra Kothi from Gopalganj, he said.
The team seized 29 packets of charas weighing 14 kg and 25 kg ganja (marijuana), hidden in the cabin of the truck, the Deputy Commissioner of Customs said adding, the truck has been seized but the driver has fled.
