Additional district sessions judge Himanshu Bhatnagar framed charges under various sections of the IPC including 307 (attempt to murder) against 28 persons and fixed October 5 as the next date of hearing.
All the 28 accused, including Khatauli MLA Saini, were present in the court.
According to the prosecution, the police registered a case against 28 people in connection with violence at Kawal village under Jansath police station in the district in August 2013.
