"In what can be a milestone in the field of child education, this building will also serve as a resource hub for 24 other Anganwadis around it," Anubhuti Chandana, a fellow architect working with the Foundation, told PTI.
The building can also be used for vocational training or as a community centre when anganwadis are over for the day which happens by noon, she said.
The building, which has optimum utilisation of the natural light, is designed by team led by architect Sachin Agshikar, an alumnus of JJ College of Architecture, who has closely worked with Correa in the past.
