The 24-year-old "One Call Away" hitmaker's fans trended hashtag '#CharliePuthIsOverParty' on Twitter after an image surfaced showing the singer telling one of his followers on the micro-blogging site to 'die' and blocking her account, reported Aceshowbiz.
The picture's credibility is still unclear, and so is the reason behind Puth's alleged action.
"If you ever feel stupid just remember that Charlie Puth told a girl to die and blocked her #CharliePuthIsOverParty," a fan wrote.
"Charlie Puth shaded Justin (Bieber), unfollowed Selena (Gomez) and told a fan to die all that in one day. He basically ended himself. #CharliePuthIsOverParty," another posted.
