Chavan appointed Rules committee member of Maha Assembly

Former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan has been appointed as a member of the Rules committee of the state Assembly.
Speaker Haribhau Bagde announced the appointments on the Rules committee and Request Note committee today.
Suman Patil, who won the Tasgaon bypoll recently, has been appointed as one of the members of the Request Note Committee.
Bagde is the ex-officio chairman of both the panels.
Along with Chavan, BJP's Prashant Thakur, advocate Ashish Shelar, Atul Bhatkhalkar, Narendra Pawar have been appointed as members of the Rules committee.
Patangrao Kadam from the Congress and Dilip Sopal from NCP, too, have been nominated as the members of the panel.
