Chemist killed for refusing to pay extortion money

A 25-year-old chemist was allegedly gunned down today by unidentified men in broad daylight in Aurangabad near here, police said.
The incident took place when the deceased, identified as Pradeep was sitting in his shop and refused to pay Rs 1.5 lakh demanded by the extortionists, City SP Ajay Sahni said.
A case has been registered against unknown assailants, he said, adding that further investigations are on.
