Chemist shot at in Meerut

A Chemist was allegedly shot at by four motorbike-borne men at Nauchandi area here, police said today.
32-year-old Jafar was going back home after closing his medical store last evening when four bike-borne men shot at him, they said.
Jafar has been admitted to a nearby hospital, police said, adding that the assailants have been identified and efforts are on to arrest them.
A property dispute is slated to be the reason behind the attack, they added.
