'Chennai 600028 II' team wraps up shoot

: The team of the upcoming film "Chennai 600028 II", directed by "Mankatha" fame Venkat Prabhu, has completed the shooting, coinciding with the birthday of noted cricketer Virendar Sehwag.
"Chennai 600028 II" is the sequel of the blockbuster Chennai 600028 released in 2007, also directed by Venkat Prabhu about a cricket match played between two rival gangs in the city.
The movie was a huge hit among the youngsters.
"The team has completed the final leg of the shoot successfully and the film is all set to go for post production work shortly," a press release said.
The movie, produced and directed by Venkat Prabhu under his Black Ticket banner, recently conducted the music launch in Malaysia. The Music has been scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The team completed the shoot yesterday, coinciding with the birthday of Sehwag.

"We feel immense pleasure to wrap our shoot on his birthday (October 20). Cricket fans go crazy when Sehwag hits the ball for a six and we are quite sure that our Chennai 600028II will drive the Tamil audience crazy", Prabhu said.
"Chennai 600028 II" has retained most of the cast and crew from the first part including Actors Jai, Vaibhav, Premji, 'Mirchi' Siva, Vijay Vasanth, among others.
The movie is slated to hit the screens on November 10.
