Child beaten to death by villagers

The body of the child Manish was being taken by a person identified as Atma Pal, Dayal said.

Angry locals soon chased him and overpowered him before badly beating him up, Dayal said.

Pal was admitted to a government hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, he added.
