"We will work with the government of Bihar for discovering sites recorded in the travelogue of Hiuen Tsang but are not known. All these sites are in Bihar for which excavation is needed," Consul General of China in Kolkata Zhanwu Ma said today.
This, he said, would require the permission of the Ministry of Culture in India.
"Some places recorded in the travelogue are yet to be discovered. Some places like Nalanda and Bodh Gaya have already become famous," Ma told a news conference here.
The seminar will explore the works of Hiuen Tsang and appreciate the philosopher's role in bringing the two countries closer, he said.
Meanwhile, for the first time, Chinese films would be screened in the upcoming Kolkata International Film Festival (KIFF).
Ma said seven Chinese films would be screened at the festival.
