He said some parts of state felt the earthquake today.
"From my office I sought information about quakes' fallout in MP. The tremors haven't caused any damage either to humans or property in the state," the chief minister said.
The CM said he himself felt the tremors while chairing a review meeting in the secretariat.
"I came down from fifth floor using stairs to an open space," he added.
He said when he was coming down he asked the Mantralaya staffers to quit their office and sirens were sounded.
"I waited for 20 minutes in an open space in the premises of the secretariat before coming to office at my official residence," he said.
