Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid obeisance at the Golden temple here today.
He was offered replica of Golden Temple and set of Sikh religious books besides Siropa (robe of honour).
He refused to talk with media by saying that it was purely a pilgrimage visit to the holy city.
After the Golden Temple, he went to historic Jallianwalla Bagh where he paid floral tribute to the martyrs who had scarified their lives for the freedom of Nation.
Before leaving the city, he also paid obeisance at famous Hindu Durgina Temple where the management too honoured him with Siropa and set of woollen shawls and portrait of the sacred Temple.
