Chris Broad named referee for Ind-WI semifinal clash

Chris Broad will be the match referee in the World Twenty20 semifinal clash between India and the West Indies, a game which will be umpired by Richard Kettleborough and Ian Gould.
"In a battle between former men's champions, India will host the West Indies for a place in the final. The match will be umpired by Richard Kettleborough and Ian Gould, with Marais Erasmus as third umpire and Michael Gough as the fourth official. Chris Board will be the match referee," the ICC said in a statement.
In the first double-header semi-final in Delhi tomorrow, the Australia-England women's semifinal will be umpired by Chris Gaffaney and S Ravi, while Joel Wilson will be the third umpire and Ranmore Martinesz as fourth umpire. Jeff Crowe will be the match referee.
This match will be followed by the men's semi-final between England and New Zealand. This game will be umpired by Kumar Dharmasena and Rod Tucker, with Bruce Oxenford and Joel Wilson as third and fourth umpires, respectively. David Boon will be the match referee.
Action will then shift to Mumbai, where New Zealand will square off against the West Indies in the second women's semi -final. This match will be umpired by Richard Illingworth and Nigel Llong, with Paul Reiffel as third umpire and Simon Fry as fourth official. Javagal Srinath will be the match referee.
Appointments for the April 3 finals at Eden Gardens in Kolkata will be announced on April 1.
