Chris Hemsworth is a real comic talent: Taika Waititi

"Thor: Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi says actor Chris Hemsworth has a great comic timing, which he wanted to utilise in their upcoming film.
The 42-year-old filmmaker says no one has been able to do justice to the actor's comic talent in their movies and he wanted to tap into a different aspect of his Norse God's character.
"I don't think they'd exploited that enough, not only in the Thor films or the Avengers films but in any of the other films he's been in. He's a real comic talent and I felt like that was something that needed to be showcased.

"I wanted people to be more on the side of Thor, make Thor the most interesting character in the film. There's no point calling the movie Thor if he's not the coolest thing in it," Waititi tells The Sydney Morning Herald.
"Thor: Ragnarok" hits the theatres in UK cinemas on October 24 and US cinemas on November 3.
