Chris Klein signs on to play villain in 'The Flash'
"American Pie" alum Chris Klein will play the new antagonist, supervillain Cicada in DC's "The Flash".
The 39-year-old actor will face-off with Barry Allen/ The Flash, played by Grant Gustin, in the fifth season of The CW show, Variety reported.
Cicada's character is described as "the scourge of Central City".
A grizzled, blue-collar layman whose family was torn apart by metahumans, Cicada is out to take them all out, one at a time.
"The Flash" returns on October 9.
