Pop stars Christina Aguilera and Demi Lovato will perform their new collaboration, "Fall in Line", at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs).
The announcement comes after weeks of speculation that Aguilera had teamed up with Lovato after she released the track listing for her upcoming LP 'Liberation', People magazine reported.
The "Smoke & Mirrors" singer, 25, also hinted at the duet during a show in Dallas as part of her recent tour.
"Christina's my girl and big things are coming," she told fans.
Last year, Lovato said in an interview that she has worked with "one of my biggest idols" but she could not yet reveal the name.
"I can't wait for the world to hear it. It's an incredible song," she had teased.
Aguilera, 37, finally dropped the first single, "Accelerate", off of her first new album in six years last week.
The BBMAs will be hosted by Kelly Clarkson, with Janet Jackson being the recipient of this year's icon award.
Singers such as Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello and Dua Lipa will be performing on the stage.
Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran and Bruno Mars lead the nods with 15 nominations each, followed by Post Malone with 13 nominations in 12 categories, and Imagine Dragons with 11 nods in 10 categories.
Malone will headline the awards after-party this year.
Vh1 will exclusively telecast the ceremony in India on May 21, Monday at 6.30 a.m. Repeat telecast on May 22, Tuesday at 10 p.m.
