Singer Ciara has decided to drop the defamation lawsuit she had filed against her ex Future over his Twitter rant, which she deemed degrading her.
The R&B songstress has dropped the lawsuit because her high income cannot support her claim that the rapper's negative comments caused her to suffer financially, reported TMZ.
Ciara, 33, filed the lawsuit back in February after Future launched a Twitter tirade questioning her parenting skills.
The singer, who shares 2-year-old son Future Wilburn Zahir with the hip hop artist, demanded USD 15 million from him as she stated that she lost jobs due to his accusations.
However, the legal war between her and Future is still not over. She is still suing Future for "false light," claiming that he made her look like someone that she is not.
