The Tamil Nadu-based bank had posted a net profit of Rs 99 crore in January-March period of 2014-15 fiscal, City Union Bank said in a BSE filing.
Total income of the bank increased to Rs 863.51 crore in the same quarter of 2015-16 fiscal as against Rs 793.64 crore during same period a year ago.
For full fiscal, the bank's net profit grew by 12.57 per cent to Rs 444.69 crore compared with Rs 395.02 crore in the 2014-15 fiscal.
