City woman faces 'threat' from absconding molesters

Four days after helping police nab one of four who molested her, a city woman tonight complained to the police of getting threats from the other absconding three to retract or face "serious consequences."
Kolkata Police sources said they were on the lookout for the three who had allegedly barged into the house of the victim yesterday and threatened her to drop the charges against them.
Four persons had been named in the FIR as molestors by the couple who were accosted by the youths as the duo were walking back home after watching a circus show on Sunday night.

The gang passed lewd remarks about the woman, made obscene gestures, allegedly tried to outrage her modesty and pushed off her husband for trying to resist, the sources said.
Of the four named, only Sajid could be netted later on.
"We are acting on her complaint and the three will be nabbed soon," a police officer said.
The incident coincided with the "gangrape" of a teenage girl in Madhyamgram in northern fringes and her subsequent death of burn injuries in a city hospital yesterday triggering a furore.
