Claire Danes receives star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

"Homeland" star Claire Danes was all smiles while receiving her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The 36-year-old actress looked stunning in a red lace halter dress showing off her trim waistline during the special occasion, reported Ace Showbiz.
Danes completed her look with a bracelet and white strappy heels while putting her long blonde locks parted to the side.
The actress who was joined by her parents at the special occasion paid tribute to them and fans in her acceptance speech.
"This is really cool to see my fans come her and cheer me on," she began her speech.

"That just means so very much to me. And of course, my parents are here. These are the two without whom I would be doing something else entirely."
The actress then explained how meaningful her parents for her. "My father, a New Yorker, drove me criss-cross this very street to audition at any hours of the day, any day of the week. And, he made it seem like a no big deal," Danes said.
She broke in tears before telling the crowd about her mother, "She stayed with me, literally, every hour, every single day I worked, and also acted like it was no big deal. But, of course, it was a big deal.
