The body of Aniket Bagdi was found hanging from a tree in the school campus this afternoon.
Aniket had attended the ongoing formative examination today and had his lunch along with other students, school Principal, Swati Mandi said adding that "it is not clear to us why he committed suicide."
Superintendent of Police, Birbhum, N Sudheer Kumar said "being informed by the school authority our officers reached the spot and sent the body to nearby hospital. The school authorities told that the boy was comparatively poor in study. But we have started investigation to find out the exact cause of death and motive.
