Class X student kills self after failing in UP Board exam

A 16-year-old student of Class X allegedly committed suicide in Ughaiti area here after failing in the Uttar Pradesh Board examination, police said today.
Jitendra hanged himself from a tree in Khushalpur village yesterday after getting to know the result of the examination on his mobile, they said.
The family members told police that they had consoled Jitendra but he went out of the house, saying he was going to meet his friends.
The body has been sent for postmortem.
