Clear sky today, mercury to touch 39 degrees Celsius

Delhi residents today woke up to a pleasant morning today, with the weather bureau recording minimum temperature at 21 degree Celsius, two notches below season's average.
The relative humidity at 8.30 AM was 69 per cent.
The meteorological department has predicted a clear day ahead.
"Skies will mainly be clear. Mercury is expected to rise as high as 39 degree Celsius during the day," a department official informed.
Yesterday, maximum temperature was recorded at 39.6 degree Celsius - two notches above season's average. The minimum temperature had settled at 25.4 degree Celsius, two notches above the average temperature for the on-going period.
