Cloud seeding under consideration in Kerala, says CM

: The Kerala government plans to go for a cloud seeding experiment to trigger rain in the wake of severe drought in the state, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said today.
The Kerala State Electricity Board has been made the nodal agency for carrying out the programme, he said in a written reply in the state assembly.
The Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment would extend technical support, he added.
