Mud-slides and flash-floods triggered by cloudburst that occurred yesterday damaged houses, schools, district officials said, adding huge tracts of the agriculture land has also been washed away by floods.
Houses were vacated by the people in view of cloudburst thereby no causality or injury was caused to the people, Sarpanch of area Mohmmad Ramzan said.
A team of Revenue Department officials headed by Tehsildar was sent to the affected area, the officials said.
Cloudbursts have been hitting various areas of Jammu and Kashmir with an alarming frequency during the past fortnight.
