Gaya, Bhagalpur, Purnea and other parts of the state may witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of thundershower tomorrow, the forecast said.
Among the four major cities of the state, Gaya was hottest at 39.1 deg C, followed by Patna at 33.6 deg C, Bhagalpur at 32.8 deg C and Purnea at 31 deg C, the Met department said.
The Met department bulletin said one or two places in north east parts of the state received light to moderate rainfall in the past 24 hours, while the weather remained generally dry in the remaining parts of the state.
