CM announces ex-gratia for family of Army jawan killed in Tangdhar

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 25 lakhs for the family of Army jawan Pushpendra Singh, who was killed in Jammu and Kashmir yesterday.

Singh, who hailed from Mathura, was killed yesterday as Army foiled an infiltration bid by militants in Tangdhar sector.

"The country will always remember the supreme sacrifice of this brave soldier in the service to the nation," an official release quoting the Chief Minister said.
