CM, Deputy CM, pay homage at memorial of Muthuramalinga Thevar

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami and deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam today paid homage at the memorial of freedom fighter Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar at Pasumpon village on his 110th birth anniversary.
DMK leader M K Stalin and sidelined AIADMK leader T T V Dhinakaran were among those who paid homage.
Thousands of people hailing from the Mukulathor community paid homage to the freedom fighter.
Later speaking to reporters Dhinkaran alleged that Paneerselvam and his supporters had put hurdles before him in taking out the gold armour of the leader from a bank locker.
The armour is taken out every year during Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar's birth and death anniversary observed from October 28 to 30.
