Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today directed Administrative Secretaries to timely complete the projects announced by him last year concerning their respective departments.
Khattar was presiding over a meeting of Administrative Secretaries of all departments to review the progress of projects announced by him, an official release said here.
The announcements that were pending upto January 2015 were taken up for review in today's meeting.
The Chief Minister's announcements pertaining to Departments of Irrigation, Power, Public Health, Engineering and Haryana State Agriculture Marketing Board have almost been completed, it was informed.
Khattar said that after taking over the reign of the administration in the State on October 26, 2014, he had made 763 announcements as per the demand and requirement of the area.
Expressing concern over the pendency of 47 announcements as on December 31, 2014, he directed the Administrative Secretaries that work on the Chief Minister's announcements should commence immediately so as to ensure their early execution.
"In case the file related to the announcement has been sent to any other department by mistake, the same should be transferred to the concerned department without any delay," Khattar directed.
He also directed that there should be no delay in the cases of transfer of land for development projects.
Khattar directed that in case any announcement is to be transferred from one department to another, the file should be sent to Chief Minister Office.
Apart from this, every department is required to fill certain columns in the Chief Minister's announcement form like estimated amount, funds released and funds spent.
He also directed that the status of the announcement would remain pending with the department till the administrative approval is not given. In case, the announcement is commissioned, the same should be visible on the ground.
He further directed that after getting the administrative approval, it is mandatory for the department to give the likely date of completion of the work or project.
Apart from this, updation, if any, in the status of CM announcement would be done online only.
