CM's constituency to get polytechnic

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister K Palaniswami today announced a polytechnic college and an industrial estate would be set up in his native Edappadi, near Salem.
Steps would be taken soon to set up a polytechnic college for students of Edappadi town panchayat and an industrial estate in Kongunapuram area, he said on a visit to the constituency, an official release said here.
Palaniswami visited Edappadi while returning from Coimbatore where he inaugurated various development schemes.
A 'grand reception' was accorded to him by the residents of Eddapadi, the release said adding Palaniswami assured to look into various demands raised by them.
