CM urges HRD minister to exempt TN from NEET

: Tamil Nadu chief Minister K Palaniswami today urged Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar to exempt Tamil Nadu from the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
The Chief Minister "made a request" with Javadekar in this regard during a meeting here, a brief government release said.
The Chief Minister had taken up the matter during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier this week.
He had urged Modi to approve two Tamil Nadu bills,allowing exemption for the students from the state from appearing in NEET to get admission into medical and dental colleges in the state.
