The court sought some clarifications from investigating officer (IO) on the facts relating to land holdings of the firm.
"Certain clarifications have been sought from the IO. Accordingly, put up on March 2 for consideration," Special CBI Judge Bharat Parashar said, adding, "Certain typographical errors were also noticed in the charge sheet which have been corrected by the IO after putting his initials."
During the hearing, the agency told the judge that all the relevant documents related to the case have been submitted in the court.
CBI had on February 20 filed a charge sheet in the case involving Rathi Steel and Power Ltd for allegedly giving false data about its land holdings and capacity to get a coal block in Chhattisgarh.
The company was allocated Kesla North coal block in Korba, Chhattisgarh on August 5, 2008.
CBI has alleged that members of the screening committee and officials of the firm had connived and favour was extended for allocation of coal block to the company over other better- placed applicants.
