Coca-Cola appoints Sarvita Sethi VP Finance for India, South West Asia

Sethi takes over from Sanjeev Kumar, who moves to Lagos as Director Finance, Coca-Cola West Africa

Beverages major Coca-Cola today announced appointment of Sarvita Sethi as Vice President - Finance for India and South West Asia.

Sethi takes over from Sanjeev Kumar, who moves to Lagos as Director Finance, Coca-Cola West Africa. She will report to Venkatesh Kini, President, Coca-Cola India and South West Asia, the company said in a statement.

The India and South West Asia Business Unit of The Coca-Cola Company includes Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives, besides India.

"Kumar, a 20-year veteran of The Coca-Cola Company and a part of the team that reintroduced Coca-Cola in India in 1993, will now head the Finance Operations for 31 countries in the Coca-Cola West Africa Business Unit," the company added.

He will report to Peter Njonjo, President, Coca-Cola West Africa Business Unit.

Kini said: "These changes are in line with our goal of promoting and developing Coca-Cola leaders and also maintaining a steady pipeline of senior talent in the system."

Sethi who was most recently Commercial Finance Director for the Coca-Cola Central and Southern (CSE) Business based in Athens, will relocate to Gurgaon for her new role.

She has been a part of Coca-Cola for eight years and earlier she was Commercial Finance Director - Great Britain and Ireland, based in London.
