The company had posted a net loss of Rs 20.9 crore during the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal, Coffee Day Enterprises said in a regulatory filing.
Coffee Day Enterprises, which runs coffee chain under brand name Cafe Coffee Day, was listed on stock exchanges in October last year.
Net sales of the company also increased by 14.50 per cent to Rs 670.24 crore during the period under review as against Rs 585.32 crore in same quarter last fiscal, it said.
Shares of Coffee Day Enterprises closed 7 per cent down at Rs 225.80 apiece on BSE.
