The stock jumped 10.97 per cent to end at Rs 225.10 on BSE. During the day, it soared 12.10 per cent to Rs 227.40.
On the NSE, shares of the company zoomed 10.77 per cent to end at Rs 224.60.
On the volume front, 8.30 lakh shares of the company were traded on BSE and over 22 lakh shares changed hands on NSE during the day.
Cafe chain Coffee Day Enterprises yesterday reported an over two-fold increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 12.34 crore for the third quarter ended December 2016.
Total income from operations of the company also increased by 13.01 per cent to Rs 763.32 crore during the period under review as against Rs 675.41 crore in same quarter last fiscal, Coffee Day Enterprises said in a regulatory filing.
