"Armando Colaco era is over, hope the club rises to success. I'm a professional, that's why I came to training," the most successful Indian club coach told reporters, bidding an emotional farewell.
Meanwhile, East Bengal have called a press interaction in the evening, where the former United SC coach is expected to take charge and is likely to have first training session tomorrow.
Making an earnest plea, the I-League winning former Dempo coach said, "You must give time to the new coach, without running after the success. I was really upset yesterday (after the meeting with the club) but everything settled amicably.
Colaco said that the City ISL franchise Atletico de Kolkata are in talks with him for a youth development programme.
"I've got plenty of offers, including youth development with ATK, and coaching with Sporting Clube de Goa, but I'm yet to take a decision," he said.
