Cold conditions prevailed in Himachal Pradesh on Saturday with major tourist hot spots including Manali and Kufri shivering at sub-zero temperatures.
The minimum temperatures were two to three degrees below the normal, the meteorological department said.
Tribal district Lahaul and Spiti's administrative centre Keylong remained the coldest place in the state at minus 14.4 degrees Celsius. Kalpa recorded a low of minus 5.6 degrees Celsius, followed by Kufri minus 3.4 degrees Celsius and Manali minus 2.8 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperatures in Shimla and Dalhousie was 0.8 degrees Celsius and 1.5 degrees Celsius respectively. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Una at 22.2 degrees Celsius.
The weatherman has forecast rain, snowfall in higher reaches of the state on February 11 and 12.
