The minimum temperatures, which settled between 8 and 14 degrees Celsius yesterday, dropped in most parts today, a MeT department report said.
The Union Territory of Chandigarh recorded a minimum of 7.6 deg C as against yesterday's low of 13.8 deg C. Ambala registered a low of 8.3 deg C as compared to yesterday's 14.4 deg C.
Hisar recorded the minimum at 4.9 degrees as against 13.7 deg C yesterday. Narnaul also had a low of 4.9 deg C, four notches down since yesterday.

A MeT official said the night temperature yesterday had risen due to the presence of a cloud cover as a Western Disturbance was active over the region.
