College student run over by bus
Jyoti Nishad, a Post Graduate student, was crossing the road at Meghdoot crossing when a speeding bus hit her, police said, adding, she came under the bus' tyres and died on the spot.
The bus driver ran away from the spot.
An FIR has been registered in Kotwali Police Station based on a complaint filed by the victim's father Ramesh Chandra Nishad, police said.
Police are on a look out for the driver.
