Actor Manoj Bajpayee is fine not doing commercial films and will sign such movies when he needs money.
The actor carved a niche for himself in B-town with films like "Satya", "Shool", "Pinjar", "Rajneeti", "Gangs Of Wasseypur", "Aligarh" and others.
"I would do commercial films when I need money. As of now no commercial films for me. Commercial films don't need me. They have talented people there. I do get offers for commercial cinema but the offers are less," Bajpayee told PTI.
He will be seen next in "Traffic" where he plays the role of a traffic policeman.
Directed by late Rajesh Pillai, "Traffic" is the remake of a 2011 Malayalam film of the same name. It is inspired from an actual event that happened in Chennai where a doctor couple donated organs of their 15-year-old son who died in a road accident.
"I was enamoured seeing the original film. It's a great story, which is inspirational," Bajpayee said.
Several actors from Bollywood, including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, have talked good about the film.
The "Aligarh" actor feels the praise for "Traffic" from actors will eventually help the film in gaining attention of the audience.
To get into the skin of the character, the 47-year-old actor followed the vision of his director.
"As an actor, one has to observe things. In real life you keep meeting different kind of people and you use that experience in your work," Bajpayee said.
Also starring, Jimmy Shergill, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Parambrata Chatterjee and Divya Dutta, "Traffic" is set to release on May 6.
