Commission issues notice to police for detention of boy

Kerala State Commission for Protection of Child Right today issued notice to top police and jail officials Palakkad in connection with keeping a 16-year old boy in a sub-jail.
It directed the Palakkad District police chief, District Probation Officer and Special Sub-Jail Superintendent to reply within three days on the matter, an official release said here today.
The boy was in judicial remand in connection with a case registered by Patambi police.
